Rumors :: New Canon / Sony / Nikon

rumors-canon-sony-nikon In the rumor mill some sources are selecting August 25 and even September 1 for the introduction of a Canon 1D Mark IV DSLR. Of course, there's very little information supporting either of these but one never knows as indicated by Canon Rumors. Around the same time Sony is expected to announce several DSLR cameras, the A500 and A850, on August 28. Should the Sony informaiton be true it certainly wouldn't come as any shock since almost every new camera released in the past year has found some way to get "leaked" first. And, of course, there's speculation that a P7000 might be waiting just around the corner. Until something is officially announced these whispers are marked "rumors."
