Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 Panasonic officially announced at PMA09 the Lumix DMC-GH1 that has HD recording capability. Like its predecessor the GH1 is based on the Micro Four Thirds standard. At the press conference the consensus indicated that this was destined to be a hit.

"The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1... is the first D-SLR competitor that can auto-focus on command while recording HD video (up to 1920-by-1080 at 24 frames per second). "
